Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel: priority entry

The Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum are compulsory stops if you decide to visit Rome and the Vatican State. Thanks to this priority entry ticket, you can enjoy them both in much more comfort, without having to queue!

The Vatican State was a magnificent splendour in every sense a few centuries back. Artists such as Bernini, Miguel Ángel o Da Vinci portrayed this greatness. In fact, inside the museum that we know today, you´ll find some of the greatest displays of art history.

When we consider that the Vatican only has an area of 144 hectares, it´s understandable why Italy is the country with the greatest number of masterpieces per square metre. The work of the popes throughout the centuries was absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately, because of this, the Vatican has become pretty famous, resulting in long queues as far as the eye can see.  However, thanks to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel: priority entry, you can avoid this wait and go straight through to the incredible collections: renaissance masterpieces, artefacts from ancient Egypt, Etruscan pieces and classical sculptures.

Without a doubt the Sistine Chapel painted by Miguel Ángel is one of the highlights of the visit. This renowned artist managed to paint more than 300 figures over the ceiling which is only 500m big. He returned a few years later to paint The Last judgement on the wall above the altar. Both the masterpieces will leave you speechless. Nevertheless before you get to the chapel, make sure to spend some time observing the Gallery of the Maps and Belvedere Courtyard designed by Bramante.
