Death Takes a Holiday at the Charing Cross Theatre
Enjoy one of the most appealing attractions of London and don't miss out the Death Takes a Holiday musical at the Charing Cross Theatre, a show that won't leave you indifferent.
Following the unforgettable tragedy Titanic, the subsequent sequel Death Takes a Holiday marks its London premiere at the Charing Cross theatre.
Not long after WW2, Death disguises himself as a young good-looking prince in Northern Ireland, in the quest to find out why on Earth, life is so precious and death is so dreaded. However, he soon falls in love with a newly engaged young woman, and eventually finds out that in this world, love may actually be more powerful than death.
The story is based on the 1928 Italian play Death Takes a Holiday, which served as an inspiration to Meet Joe Black, film starring Brad Pitt. Including music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by multi Tony Award winners Peter Stone and Thomas Meehan. Directed by Thom Sutherland.
Death Takes a Holiday was nominated for 11 Drama Desk Awards after its Off Broadway premiere in 2011.
Tickets for Death Takes a Holiday at the Charing Cross Theatre cost from 40,50£. Don't miss the chance to get a ticket for one of the best shows in London.
